A site specific installation for the 5-story spiral staircase and the bell tower of the Parochialkirche, Berlin. Various loudspeakers, microphones, computer-controlled FFT analysis/translation, midi instruments and multi-channel audio. Loudspeakers were arranged vertically in order of ascending frequency-range from the base of the staircase (subwoofer) into the bell tower (piezos). The overtone chord projected by the installation was influenced in spectrum and dynamic activity by the noises of the city, picked up through microphones installed in the outdoor section of the tower.
